Cooperation Ub – Århus

In Friday, November the 20th, representatives of the Municipality of Ub had a meeting with Mr Fleming Meyer, Senior Consultant at the Department of Employment of Municipality of Århus, the second largest town in Denmark. Serbian Standing Conference of the Towns and Municipalites mediated in preliminary contact of these two future partners.

Sava Sarić, Deputy Mayor, welcomed our dear guest and expressed will to our city cooperate and learn from Aarhus and its experiences. Stefan Teodosić and Branko Lazić from the Department of Economic Affairs and International & Media relations presented Ub’s potentials to Mr Meyer.

Mr Meyer announced his second visit to Ub in January / February 2010, when two partners will define concrete project for participation in The Second Call of Exchange 3 programme. In the meantime, Aarhus will provide support for upcoming First Call of E3P, by establishing partnership and providing support for The Youth Center project of municipalities Ub and Niš.
